Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo (BAMZ)

If you are in Bermuda, you can't afford to miss the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo or, in short, BAMZ. Located in Hamilton Parish, BAMZ is a premier visitor attraction dedicated to preserving the island's natural environment and reintroduction of threatened species. On a visit, you'll see over 300 species of birds, reptiles and mammals.

Watch the triggerfish, angelfish, parrotfish, jacks, groupers and squirrelfish at the Aquarium. The popular seven-foot Moray Eel is one of the most outstanding exhibits here. You'll be the lucky one if you could entice it away from the sheltering rocks in its tank! Besides, the aquarium is home to an award-winning North Rock Exhibit, a spectacular replica of one of the island's natural coral reefs. Read the placards around the tank to know the importance conserving the coral reefs.

The Natural History Museum is a recent addition that focuses mainly on the Island's geology, biodiversity and natural habitats. The Museum also provides a bridge to the wonders of the Zoo. Don't miss the Australasia section of the zoo! This is where you can take a close look at ring-tailed lemurs, wallbabies and tree kangaroos away from Australia. Spotting the international bird species in colorful garden settings is a lifetime esperience. What's more, there's an interactive Discovery Cove as well as Local Tails for the children.
