St. Lucia Locations......

The stunningly beautiful island of St. Lucia is situated at the heart of the Windward chain in the Eastern Caribbean, between St Vincent and Martinique. Filled with lush rainforests, unspoilt beaches and breathtaking mountain scenery, St. Lucia is nothing less than a natural paradise. Dazzling sugar sand beaches sparkle in the Caribbean sun, and the dark sand of St. Lucia's black beaches shimmers like ebony, creating amazing contrasts against the island's green hills. The most famous landmarks in the country are the twin peaks of Gros Pitons, also the UNESCO's world heritage site. Although, these appear to be free-standing peaks, in fact they are part of the walls of a volcanic cone that blew itself apart an estimated 40,000 years ago.

The country's rainforests are a habitat for a large variety of flora and fauna. The rainforest preserves of St. Lucia's mountainous interior are one of the Caribbean's finest places for hiking and birdwatching. The island also possesses excellent facilities for golf, tennis, sailing, and a host of other leisure activities. Apart from natural attractions this country of Spanish-English influence is dotted with aged fortresses, small villages, and open-air markets. Beaches, plenty of natural attractions and the beauty of its rainforests make this Caribbean country worth visiting!
