Chile Locations......

Situated in one of the remotest places of the earth, Chile promises its visitors a myriad of natural attractions. A legend says that after the creation of the world God scraped the leftovers behind the last mountain range - and here they are: magnificent volcanoes, lush rainforests, sun-baked deserts alongwith natural grasslands. No other country combines so many contrasts in landscapes and climate zones as Chile. The shape of this country is unique: On average only 180 km wide, but 4300 km long, Chile seems to be cramped between high Cordillera in the East and the Pacific Coast in the West.

While, the North attracts tourists with the world's largest open cast copper mine, Spanish style colonial villages and beautiful beaches, the South hosts many wonderful lakes, waterfalls and small fishing ports. The central region has some attractive beaches and it is possible to visit Easter island which is famous for the Moai, the enormous stone figures which are scattered all over the island. Besides its natural beauty and an interesting blend of cultures, Chile offers the visitor excellent wines and seafood, unique handicrafts and shopping, and a variety of characteristic architecture, making it a beautiful and memorable place to visit.
