Ghana Locations......

Located in the Western part of Africa, Ghana is one of the richest countries and the most successful country's in Africa. Visitors to Ghana will not be disappointed by the charm of its natural sights as well as the sandy beaches on its coastline that offer a lot of opportunities for a perfect vacation. Although, small in size, Ghana has so much to see and do! The capital city Accra is the perfect place to start any trip, it is a vivacious city with cultural markets buzzing with crowd all day and some good museums.

Accra is a modern city with excellent accommodation facilities and number of restaurants as well. That's not all, there is much more that you can indulge in relax at a sunny beach, unwind the mystery of Old Forts or dance all night away to the tunes of the local music, there is a lot to indulge in.

The coast towns of Ghana are famous are a must to visit. A witness of slave trade, that was once prevalent in the country the Forts here will remind you of the bygone era. Besides Forts, beaches are another main attraction of this area, Elmina, Cape coast Shama and Dixcove are amongst the top hotspots on the coast.

While you are at Ghana don't forget to visit the Ashanti region, the home to nation's most dominant tribe and the cultural heartland of the country. In the northeast, Boufom Wildlife Sanctuary that contains the spectacular Banfabiri Falls is a must visit and if you in north then Mole National park is a great place to observe the Elephants and some other animal species including antelope, monkey and lions. You can also explore the park on foot.

A heady mix of culture, history and natural wonders, Ghana is must to explore, if you are in Africa.

National Museum of Ghana
The National Museum in Accra is one of the oldest museums in Ghana. Established in 1957, the museum was officially opened by the Duchess of Kent, Britain on the eve of Ghana's Independence.
