Eiffel Tower

One of the most visited monuments in the world. Eiffel Tower is perhaps the most celebrated architectural achievement in the Western world. The magnificent steel tower was built for the International Exhibition of Paris of 1889 commemorating the centenary of the French Revolution. At the time the Tower was built, it was the tallest building in the world until the year 1930 when the Chrysler building in New York was finished. Earlier disliked because of it's design and size, even it's creator Gustave Eiffel would have no idea that it will become a symbol of Paris, as well as of France itself.

Fascinating visitors from all around the world, climbing this huge structure is not an easy task, you will need a cable car to reach its top. There are two floors that you can walk up to before climbing the very top. At each floor there is a restaurant where you can sit down, and enjoy coffee - they do a good cappuccino! The restaurant on the first floor is called Altitude 95 which stems from the fact that it is located at 95 meters high. On one side you can view the Trocadero and on the other side you look to the inside of the Eiffel Tower. The second restaurant is called Le Jules Verne and is located on the second floor, 125 meters above the ground. This prestigious restaurant provides French cuisine at its best while offering stunning panoramic views of Paris.
