Mammoth Cave National Park, Kentucky

Mammoth Cave National Park preserves the cave system and a part of the hilly country of south central Kentucky. It is one of the longest cave systems with over 365 miles to be explored. Mammoth Cave was designated as a World Heritage Site in 1981, and as an International Biosphere Reserve in 1990.

Activities galore! Take a roller coaster ride at the Beech Bend Amusement Park, see the exhibits of prehistoric animals in the Dinosaur World, step back in time and enjoy the sights and sounds of the Wild West at the Guntown, or be a spectator at the Kentucky Reporatory Theater. There's so much to do! Besides, there's a couple of museums in the park area, which is dedicated to historical and natural heritage of Kentucky.
