Pirates of Nassau Museum

Visit the Pirates of Nassau Musuem check out how the Bahamas used to be during the Golden Age of Piracy! Dedicated to savagery and barbarity on the high seas, this interactive museum will take you back to the time when notorious ruffians such as Blackbeard ruled the waves and plundered the galleons for 30 years starting 1690.

The highlight of the museum is the mock-up of the notorious pirate ship 'Revenge'. Board this ship for the adventure of a lifetime! Explore the lower decks for the exhibit such as cutlasses, flintlock pistols and other weapons used by pirates.

If you think that the jolly roger skull and cross bone flag was used by all pirates, be sure to check out the Dioramas! These are few artifacts and interactive signages, which will clear up some myths. You'll know that each pirate ship had it's own flag!

What's more, there's a Pirates Pub and gift shop inside the museum, which remain open throughout the week and sells interesting souvenirs and gift items.
