Three Eyes of Water (Los Tres Ojos de Agua)

One of the most unique natural attractions in the Dominican Republic, the Los Tres Ojos de Agua or The Three Eyes of Water is a feast for the eyes. This spectacular cave complex will take you through three turquoise lagoons on three different levels, each fed by an underground river and surrounded by countless stalactites, stalagmites and lush tropical vegetation. Perhaps you'll never see water as transparent as it is inside the cave!

Tarzan fans will recognize Los Tres at the first instance. You might ask why! It's simply because several Tarzan movies have been filmed here. At the first instance, it gives an impression as if there's nothing worthwhile to see. But as you descend down the stone steps, the earth itself will open up!

Deeper into the earth, it's a dizzying effect. The water is so clear. From the bottom, if you look up from one of the lagoons, you can almost visualize your favorite hero diving from the top of the cliff! Then hop into a small raft-style boat and take a ride into the cave.
